LEAF Student Scholarship Opportunities
Lamar CISD District employees are invited to apply to receive a scholarship for aspiring Para-professions or SPED Educators. Please note that our scholarship application window is now closed!

For Para-professionals:
The Lamar Educational Awards Foundation (LEAF) will award three one-time scholarships to LCISD Para-professionals working towards their teaching certification.

Award Amount: $500
​
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must:

Be an employee of Lamar CISD
-
Working on their teaching certificate
-
Non-certified
​
Submit an application package that includes: a completed application, recommendation, transcript, and current class schedule.
For Aspiring SPED Educators:
The Lamar Educational Awards Foundation (LEAF) will award one scholarship to any district employee working towards their degree in Special Education.

Award Amount: $500
​
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must:
