At the Lamar Educational Awards Foundation (LEAF), we believe that when educators grow, students thrive. That’s why we are proud to support professional development through our Professional Travel Grant program — designed to help Lamar CISD educators attend workshops, conferences, and training sessions that enhance their knowledge and instructional skills.
This year, we are excited to recognize the 2025 Professional Travel Grant recipients, a group of passionate and forward-thinking educators who are committed to continuous learning and excellence in education.
Supporting Lifelong Learning
Professional development is key to staying informed about the latest teaching methods, educational technologies, and best practices. These travel grants help cover expenses for educators who must travel outside the district to attend meaningful training opportunities that would otherwise be out of reach.
Whether they are attending national education conferences, specialized workshops, or certification programs, our grant recipients are taking the initiative to deepen their expertise and bring back valuable insights that benefit their students, colleagues, and campuses.
