Turning Up the Volume on Learning at Morgan Elementary!

Purpose & Impacts grant was designed with a clear intention:

This grant was designed to expand the depth and quality of music education at Morgan Elementary by giving students hands-on access to a wide range of instruments. The opportunity to create rhythms, melodies, and accompaniments has inspired greater creativity, encouraged collaboration among peers, and provided a healthy outlet for emotional expression. Teachers have noticed stronger engagement, noticeable growth in musical skills like beat keeping, improvisation, and singing accuracy, and a more inclusive classroom environment where every student feels empowered to participate. The variety of instruments also allows for differentiated learning, ensuring that all students — regardless of ability — can experience success and joy in music.

The Play, Learn, Create grant has brought a new vibrancy to music at Morgan Elementary. By layering new experiences into each grade level’s curriculum, students are not just studying music — they are living it.
