His Favorite LEAF Initiative

One of Dr. Darrough’s favorite foundation initiatives is the Grant Express program. She enjoys reviewing teacher grant applications and discovering creative ideas designed to enhance classroom learning. For her, the most rewarding moments come when grants are awarded and she witnesses the excitement of teachers and students firsthand. Seeing those projects in action and even being recognized by students in the community who remember her classroom visits—reinforces the lasting impact of the program.
